The company has two divisions with a yard and office/workshop being based in Wellsford and the Auckland division being operated out of Silverdale. The company has been in operation since 2000 and has a fleet of seven boom pump trucks ranging from a 15 metre boom to a 38 metre boom and two line pumps. Construction Projects Advanced Concrete Pumping has been involved in or is currently involved in many major commercial projects including: • One of the largest single day concrete pours in New Zealand – the 2013 Marsden Point Oil Refinery upgrade where 2,746 cubic metres of concrete was pumped in one continuous pour using five pump trucks pumping continuously over a 16 hour period; • The Northern Gateway Waiwera Tunnel, Auckland project; • The Kensington Apartment Blocks development in Orewa, Auckland (multiple 4-5 storey buildings); • The construction of the new wharf facility at Marsden Point Refinery where concrete was pumped 600 metres to construct wharf piles into the sea floor; • The construction of the Park Hyatt hotel complex in Auckland’s CBD district, including pumping a large portion of the structural concrete; • The structural concrete for the new Auckland prison located at Paremoremo; • Madden Street, Wynyard Quarter in the Auckland CBD – extensive streetscape works were undertaken; and • Skate parks at Silverdale and Mangawhai.
