As well as providing direct support and advocacy, we have a wider role in shaping society’s attitudes towards people with a disability. CCS Disability Action is the largest pan-disability support and advocacy organisation in New Zealand. We have disabled children and young people throughout Auckland who need a safe, stable and nurturing home away from home. If you are interested in welcoming a child or young person into your family and whanau, either on a short or long term basis, give us a call to find out more about becoming Foster Caregivers with CCS Disability Action. You must have a spare bedroom within your home and be able to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment and also be open to us completing CCS Disability Action Foster Caregiver Assessment and Safety Checks. As independent contractors, an attractive overnight 'Bed Night' rate allowance is paid as well as any agreed expenses reimbursed. You can make a difference in a child's life.
